Home Closing Costs
Calculating the closing costs for a home can be difficult because of the many specialized fees and taxes associated with purchasing a home. These include searches, clearances, and reports to process the transaction. The complexity of these fees and taxes can typically and easily add up to thousands of dollars. Financing costs including origination fees, points, credit report costs and various other bank charges can be quite costly. A purchaser should closely examine the closing costs for a home and estimate the total before entering into a transaction. Sometimes, financing costs can be negotiated with a bank or different types of bank loans can be compared to minimize upfront or long-term costs.
I represent both commercial and residential clients. This representation includes the purchase or sale of single or multi-family homes, cooperatives and condominiums.
